The DVD

VIDEO: "Wonder Woman" is presented in 1.33:1 full-frame - the show's original aspect ratio - on this second season set. For a series that came from the mid-70's, the show doesn't look too bad. Sharpness and detail were not great, but remained consistently pretty good. Only a few moments here-and-there (such as what looked to be bad stock footage) appeared on the soft side.

The picture didn't suffer from any edge enhancement or pixelation, but there were some minor instances of shimmering. The elements were certainly not terribly worn, but there were a few instances of specks, marks and other minor debris in each episode. The show's color palette was generally natural, but some brighter colors showed through nicely.

SOUND: The show's mono soundtrack remained quite pleasing, with clear dialogue and clear (although slightly edgy-sounding at times) effects.

EXTRAS: The only extra is the 11-minute "Revolutionizing a Classic": From Comic Book to TV. The brief piece provides interviews with the cast and crew, who discuss the development of the series and the response from audiences.

Final Thoughts: "Wonder Woman" seems a bit dated at this point, but in the best, most entertaining and hilarious possible way. The DVD set provides good audio/video, along with one nice supplement. Recommended for fans.
